Help Whip Cancer in May

HauteMealz.com subscriber, and Pampered Chef business owner, Wendy Love (Cooking With Wendy) asked us to share the following:

PC Cancer

I NEED YOUR HELP!! I am looking to raise money for The American Cancer Society for the Early Detection and Prevention of Breast Cancer. 1 in 8 women will develop invasive breast cancer in their lifetime.

It is now the 4th most common form of cancer and the 2nd leading cause of death to women. Thanks to improvements in treatment and early detection, more than 2.9 million breast cancer survivors are celebrating another birthday this year.

However, in the last year, 4 people close to me have developed Breast Cancer.

One of them will probably not survive.

The Pampered Chef, in collaboration with The American Cancer Society, is raising funds for breast cancer awareness and early detection programs through our “Help Whip Cancer campaign”.

To date, we have raised over 11 million dollars. We have exclusive pink products only available in May. $1 of each item sold will be donated to ACS.

I will also be holding a fundraiser and between The Pampered Chef’s contribution and my commission up to 45% of sales will be donated. Please place your orders by May 15th. Contact me and I will send you a catalog.

How can you help?

1. You can place an order on my fundraiser. Just go to my website (www.pamperedchef.biz/wendylove) and click shop online. In the next window use Breast Cancer as the host (use both spaces).

2. Call me to host a Cooking, catalog, online or fundraiser show to help raise donations for the ACS.

3. Share this message with anybody who would like to participate, or send them to the Facebook

We’re proud to support Wendy, and this unquestionably important cause.

If you’d like to help out but aren’t sure what you’d like to order, feel free to contact Wendy, myself, or search “Pampered Chef”, here on the blog, to see some of the products that we, your hautemealz chefs, use and love.

This post is dedicated to Ruth Alberta Wilson Perkins, my Grandmother, who fought to the end.

We can beat this!
