Garlic Roasted Asparagus

Total Time: 10 min.

  • 1 lb. asparagus spears
  • 1 to 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 6 garlic cloves, peeled and halved
  • salt & black pepper

Rinse clean the asparagus. Break the tough ends off of the asparagus and discard.

Lay the asparagus spears out in a single layer in a baking dish or a foil-covered roasting pan. Drizzle oil over the top and roll back and forth until they are coated. Sprinkle with garlic cloves, salt & black pepper.

Place the pan in 400°F oven and cook for approximately 8-10 minutes, until asparagus are lightly browned and tender when pierced with a fork.

    • Thanks! Chef Terry makes an amazing Pork Wellington, too, but this is the first time I’d done ground beef. Turned out great! Classy enough to impress grown-ups, but still familiar enough that kids will give it a try!
