Garlic Roasted Asparagus

- 1 lb. asparagus spears
- 1 to 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 6 garlic cloves, peeled and halved
- salt & black pepper
Rinse clean the asparagus. Break the tough ends off of the asparagus and discard.
Lay the asparagus spears out in a single layer in a baking dish or a foil-covered roasting pan. Drizzle oil over the top and roll back and forth until they are coated. Sprinkle with garlic cloves, salt & black pepper.
Place the pan in 400°F oven and cook for approximately 8-10 minutes, until asparagus are lightly browned and tender when pierced with a fork.
