No Kid Hungry campaign and a special offer

Welcome! We’d like to make you a very special offer…

In the world’s wealthiest nation, 16 million children go to bed hungry every night. Change begins with you — RSVP to watch Hunger Hits Home, a documentary presented by the Food Network in partnership with Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign.

This is your chance to learn firsthand about the burgeoning child hunger crisis and how you can make a difference. Please let us know you’ll join us for this premiere in the comfort of your own home and even invite your friends to come over and watch it with you.

At we support the “No Kids Hungry” campaign, and so we’d like to make you this offer. This is a very personal subject for me as (though you wouldn’t know it to look at me now, lol) I was one of those kids who never knew if there would be food on the table or not.

So, in honor of the premier of “Hunger Hits Home”, between now midnight tomorrow night (so everyone has time to watch the show), for every new subscriber we receive, will donate your first month’s subscription cost ($5.00) to the “No Kids Hungry” campaign.

I’ll keep a running total here and on our Facebook Page, so folks can see how it’s going.

If you’ve been considering signing up for, there’s no better time than right now to get amazing meals made easy, AND help an amazing organization, help our kids!

If you’re already a member (thank you!) this is the time to let other folks know. Please use the social media share buttons, below, to let everyone  know how they can help…or sign them up for a gift subscription!

Let’s see what we can do in the next 36 hours for Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign, and then join us in watching the premier of Hunger Hits Home tomorrow night on Food Network!
